Grand canyon water rafting

Spring is here and outdoor adventure is in the air. This means that thrill seekers and lovers of Mother Nature alike are gearing up and heading to the great outdoors to breathe in the fresh, crisp air and soak in the newfound sunshine.
But with so many options for outdoor adventuring, which one should you try first? While you have all spring and summer to have a hand at any activity under the sun, (literally) it can be hard to choose where you should get started. Luckily, we have provided a list of the top three outdoor activities you should get involved in this spring and summer. These activities are guaranteed to get your heart rate up, your blood pumping, and will provide both that breath of fresh air and thrill that you’ve been absolutely craving all winter.

Whitewater Rafting
Whitewater rafting is a lively, fast-paced activity that requires teamwork, attentiveness, and a whole lot of paddling! River raft trips are available in a number of the country’s most beautiful locations — from the Grand Canyon to Colorado Springs. These trips are great to go on with your family or friends. And if you’re into a more solo situation, we recommend renting a kayak.

Hiking
Tried and true, hiking is one of America’s favorite outdoor activities. Like whitewater rafting, hiking is a versatile activity with varying levels of difficulty. For example, you can pick a simple trail on a relatively level ground, or you can do an advanced trail, climbing a mountain or a canyon. Just be sure to take precautions before hiking by bringing proper hydration, food, and bringing a map and cellular device with you!

Biking
Biking is a broad activity — but that’s exactly why it’s so wonderful. Bikes are energy efficient, healthful, and a fun means of getting from one location to the next. There are many ways to enjoy bike riding, such as mountain biking, biking on concrete trails, or simply traversing across the city. Like any activity, be sure to pay mind to safety precautions and always be alert and wear a helmet.
