  1. Practice soccer fundamentals every day. You need to perfect your technique. Every day, you should do at least a half an hour of skill practice. When you do a small amount of practice more often, you get more of a benefit from the practice than when you do a ton at once. When you do 30 minutes every day, you will get more out of the experience than three hours of practice done once a week. By practicing every day, you get to improve your speed and get both your mind and your feet in a better position to play the game properly.
  2. Use balls of different sizes. Many experts at soccer camps recommend practicing dribbling skills with a tennis ball rather than a soccer ball. They note that when you want to learn soccer skills, getting to be good at skills like dribbling, which is an essential soccer skill, you will have an easier time with a regular soccer ball if you can master dribbling with a tennis ball. This will help with your creativity, your speed and ability to control the soccer ball.
  3. Practice with your weak foot. You should practice passing to people at varying distances from very close to relatively far away on the field. Getting used to passing to people at different angles and distances from you will help make the process come a lot easier to you.
